Meet the Team Behind Zenshin Event

Zenshin Event is a volunteer-based organization consisting of five dedicated board members, as well as a special Zenshin Event Champion business partner. Together, they work to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing between Danish and Japanese companies and organizations, with sports as the common foundation.

Vision

Zenshin Event’s vision is to become a leading platform for international collaboration within welfare, sports and cultural exchange. The aim is to create sustainable cities and communities that prioritize individual well-being, with a particular focus on combating loneliness and promoting social cohesion through sports, business and culture.

Mission

The mission is to bring together experts, athletes, cultural leaders and decision-makers from Denmark and Japan to develop and share innovative solutions that improve quality of life in communities around the world. The conference, which is based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizes sustainable cities and communities through a human-centered and collaborative approach.

Goals

Improve well-being: Develop solutions that address loneliness and promote social interaction in communities through cultural and sports initiatives.

Strengthen partnerships: Promote long-term collaborations between Danish and Japanese stakeholders within the welfare, sports (especially judo) and cultural sectors.

Knowledge sharing: Serve as a platform for exchanging insights, innovations and best practices across welfare, sports and cultural initiatives.

Integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Ensure that all efforts support the UN goals for sustainable cities and communities.

Promote cultural understanding: Deepen mutual understanding between Denmark and Japan to strengthen cooperation and enrich cross-cultural partnerships.
